St. Andrew’s Legacy Society
Would you like to witness to the value of St. Andrew’s in your life and to secure its ministries for generations to come? Our Legacy Society recognizes people who have remembered Saint Andrew’s Church in their wills or have made provision for the church through other planned gifts. Gifts to the Legacy Fund are acts of hope for the future of our parish. Through God’s grace and your generosity, Saint Andrew’s Church will be well equipped to serve our community for generations to come. If you missed the Rector’s cover letter about the establishment of our planned giving program, you can read it here. Becoming a member
You may become a member of the Saint Andrew’s Legacy Society simply by notifying us that you have named Saint Andrew’s Church as a beneficiary in your will or planned gift. An enrollment form is available in the church office and on our website. Every year, names of new members of the Society will be added and announced at our All Saints’ Day celebrations. It is also possible to remain anonymous. The most recent list of new members is here. How will you be remembered?
The Vestry has established a Legacy Fund to receive bequests. Designed to empower ministry, encourage innovation and prioritize mission, the Legacy Fund will fund outreach, evangelism, special projects, and new ministries. Up to half of the annual distributions from the Legacy Fund can be used for the core elements of ministry funded by the annual operating budget: music and worship, buildings and grounds, pastoral care, and Christian education. Gifts of over $50,000 may be designated for particular areas of church life. St. Andrew’s Church is tax-exempt, affording many benefits to donors during their lifetime and/or after death Forms of planned giving
