Kathleen Rusnak and Jay MacLeod are planning a trip for 20 persons. This “pilgrimage of a lifetime” will open up your understanding of the Bible and deepen your faith. Preparatory study sessions will be offered by Kathleen in the next months.
The trip begins in Jerusalem, staying in the Ecce Homo, a quiet convent guesthouse owned by the Sisters of Sion, in the Muslim quarter of the Old City. This is the the place beneath which Pilate said "Ecce Homo" ("Behold the man") to the crowd who wished Jesus' death. It is a part of the Via Dolorosa, the way of the cross. The roof terraces of the guest house overlook the entire Old City.
Within the Old City, we will walk the 14 stations on the Via Dolorosa, touch the Western Wall, and use a tunnel to reach the street level that Jesus walked. A stone's throw outside
the gate of the Old City, near where we are staying, is the Garden of Gethsemane with olive trees over three thousand years old.
Before heading north to Nazareth and the Galilee to see the well-known places where Jesus taught we will visit Bethlehem and Rachel's Tomb.
A four-day extension to Jordan is also available.
