Memorial Garden
At the east end of St. Andrew's is a quiet space for prayer and contemplation, the Kelsey Memorial Garden. A tall hedge encloses birches, lawn, and a shade garden of ferns, lilacs, and myrtle. High relief bronzes sculpted by Will Kieffer proclaim the mystery of faith: "Christ has died. Christ is risen. Christ will come again.”
The garden is a columbarium for the ashes of parishoners. For information on reserving a place click here. The memorial garden was dedicated in 1993 to the memory of Vera Whistler Dabney Kelsey. |
